Subclass 173 – Contributory Parent (Temporary) Visa

Subclass 870 – Sponsored Parent (Temporary) Visa
This visa category is for parents whose child is an Australian citizen, a permanent resident, or an eligible New Zealand citizen. It offers a flexible stay duration of either 3 or 5 years in Australia.

Subclass 143 – Contributory Parent Visa
Parents with a child who is an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or an eligible New Zealand citizen settled in Australia, meet the balance of family test and other requirements can apply for this visa to live in Australia permanently.

Subclass 103 – Parent Visa
This visa provides parents with the opportunity to reside permanently in Australia, under the condition that their child is an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a qualifying New Zealand citizen settled in the country and meeting the other eligibility requirements. The processing time for this visa is currently 30 years.

Subclass 864– Contributory Aged Parent Visa
Parents with a child who is an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or an eligible New Zealand citizen settled in Australia can apply for this visa to live in Australia permanently if they meet the age threshold set for the visa, they are in Australia on another visa which allows the application of this type of parent visa.

Subclass 804– Aged Parent Visa
This visa provides parents with the opportunity to reside permanently in Australia, under the condition that their child is an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a qualifying New Zealand citizen settled in the country and they meet the other requirements set for this visa. This visa currently takes almost 30 years to process.
